Our history
BlackPoint has provided more than 20 years of uninterrupted service to our clients and communities.
BlackPoint started life in 2001 as Innovation Partners. Our mission back then was to bring innovation and an entrepreneurial mindset to large corporations. Our founders had come from working in the start-up industry and recognised an opportunity to bring the same entrepreneurial and dynamic approach to corporate innovation and commercialisation activities.
After 10 years we began to see a shift and innovation was no longer a nice to have but a core enabler of organisational success.
We rebranded to BlackPoint in 2012 to reflect our developing service offering. To achieve innovation success for our clients we were engaged in strategy, leadership development, transformation, organisation design and operational systems. Over the past decade we are proud to have supported a broad range of organisations to create something better for their people, stakeholders, communities and the worlds in which they operate.
How we work
Across our journey BlackPoint has remained a small, focussed and dedicated team that has allowed us to provide highly experienced consultants and personalised service to our clients. Client relationships and results matter to us.
We approach every engagement with curiosity, purpose and a strategic, big-picture view.
We seek to understand and derive insights through analysis and bringing different perspectives to the thinking.
We work collaboratively with our clients and client teams to deliver outcomes. We understand the power of ownership and engagement in delivering the best solutions and in making sure they are implemented and sustained. We guide, facilitate, coach, provide frameworks and inputs to support our clients to do the best thinking and to build outcomes and solutions they are committed to.
